Cosmetic bonding is simply doing a filling more for esthetic reasons than for treating decay. Tooth colored filling materials called composites are used to hide darkened areas of teeth, close spaces between teeth, fix chips, or straighten teeth.

Implant
There are four general ways to replace a missing tooth or teeth: flipper, partial, bridge, or implant. Of these four, implants are the more popular treatment of choice and most often provide the more successful long-term prognosis. A titanium, blunted screw is carefully inserted into the jaw bone until it has adapted and locked to your body. Then a crown is later cemented on that implant screw. During the procedure the site is numbed so it is typically a painless procedure with great esthetic results.
Teeth Whitening
AKA BLEACHING
Tooth whitening (bleaching) is one of the more conservative, non-invasive, and economical ways to brighten your smile. An array of methods and merchandise exist that advertise a whiter smile. In our office however, we utilize the more effective, proven, safe, and reliable way to whiten teeth.
Some patients may get very sensitive teeth regardless of the means they use to whiten their teeth. Sensitivity can be easily addressed by visiting our office
Veneers
Veneers are porcelain shells that attach to the visible side of front teeth (more or less from canine to canine teeth). The natural tooth is usually shaved down, which may be a non-reversible procedure. The purpose of veneers is to give that ideal smile you have craved if you do not like your tooth shape or appearance, AND because you do not want to do braces.

White Spot Lesion Removal
Some people probably feel that they are cursed to live with these white cloudy scuffmarks on their teeth. Braces, fluoride excess or lack, and demineralization are some means that lead to white spot lesions (WSL). There are many ways to remove WSL from conservative to very aggressive methods. These range from teeth whitening, chemical abrasion, cosmetic fillings, veneers, and crowns. Please consult with Dr. Nelson about what is the right approach for you since any of those recommended treatments are a case by case situation.
