Financial Payment Plans We offer several options to help finance the dental needs for you or your family
We accept most dental insurances. Dental insurance companies normally allot a total amount of dollars annually towards qualified exams and treatment; whereas if cash were paid in full for treatment then the total amount due is normally reduced a courtesy rate...
Millenium Dental Savings Plan
This is a discount savings plan. The annual membership covers two exams yearly, x-rays, and simple cleanings and up to 20% discounts towards other treatment. We eliminate the 3rd party so you can get the treatment needed without limitations from your dental insurance...
Think of it as a credit card for dental care purposes
CareCredit is designed exclusively to help patients with large dental cases. It allows you to promptly receive the treatment that you need while arranging payments in small increments based on your timetable. Best way to imagine it is as a credit card for dental care.
The interest rates for these loans will vary but seem to be around 14.9%--they do advertise that this rate may be flexible. Monthly payments could extend up to 5 years (60 payments) depending on your case. There is no prepayment penalty and no annual fees. We can assist you in contacting CareCredit from our office. If you wish to contact them yourself you may do so by visiting their website at www.carecredit.com or call their office at 1(800) 677-0718.
Please fill out your insurance form prior to your initial visit so we can contact your dental insurance company and analyze your potential insurance coverage. Most often we can only give you estimates of what your insurance will cover as well as your financial responsibility. Understand that most plans cover anywhere between 40-80% of your total dental expenses, and there may be some treatments that we provide that may not be covered at all by your dental insurance. After your dental insurance pays their portion, the remaining amount of the uncollected expenses will become your responsibility. If your insurance company were to not pay for your portion within 60 days after the filed claim, legally it becomes the patient's repsonsibility to pay for the total amount. We ask that your copayments be made during your dental visit.
Many dental insurances may also state that they will pay 80% of a treatment for example. However, their percentage may be 80% of their own predetermined price that may not reflect our dental practice's actual treatment value. This only adds more expenses owed by you instead of the insurance company. Under those circumstances our dental practice recommends either switching dental insurance, paying cash instead, or heavily consider our Millenial Plan that eliminates a 3rd-party dental insurance all together.
We ask that you pay for treatment at the time of your visit. Exceptions are made when a payment plan is agreed upon. We accept personal checks, money orders, debit cards, some credit cards, and now PayPal on-line.
Balances that are unpaid 60-days overdue will incur financial charges of 18%APR. Below lists several formats::
Pre-Payment Courtesy (for fees over $500): At your initial visit only, if your entire treatment plan is paid in full and the total treatment expenses exceed $500 we are excited to offer a 5% courtesy (3% if paying with credit card) subtracted from your total patient obligation. Legally we cannot subtract any portion paid by your insurance company or include their payment obligations toward your courtesy.
Pre-Payment Plans: This allows you to make regular contributions to your account toward your treatment. When there are sufficient funds we can go ahead with your proposed treatment needs.
Pay as You Go: You may pay at each visit for treatment being completed that day
Credit cards: We can arrange monthly payments from your credit card amount up to three months if needed. For our patients with insurance that pay your deductible with a credit card, rather than guessing what your insurance will pay for and sending you a statement of payment in the mail, we will be happy to bill the exact difference to your credit card on the day that we receive the insurance benefit payment. Please ask our front desk staff for the form to make this arrangment happen.
